Enjoying the Weather

Thursday:
Kara and I enjoyed a relaxing morning at home, walked to the shops to buy some yummy fruit and then spent the afternoon at Churchman's brook with some lovely ladies and lots of food!

the two bubs enjoying their afternoon tea :)

aren't they adorable! gotta love them!

two lovely ladies

loving cuddles with aunty di :)

Friday:
Enjoyed lunch with Mark in Belmont and then went to the park with our mums and bubs group :)  I think enjoying time at the park will feature alot in my posts...  Kara loves it outside and I can't say that I mind either! :)  Especially with the beautiful weather we have been blessed with!

Saturday:
Kara and I made our way to the Amanda Gardens for a lovely morning spent with Mel at a fundraiser for the Amanda Young Foundation... In the late afternoon we dropped off a new feature for BSKE's living room wall :)  we ended up hanging around for a lovely bbq dinner.

Sunday:
Had a very cute couple over for coffee ;) and had the privilege to listen to a sermon and presentation from Rev Wildeboer... He definitely is an inspiration! It is not hard to see the passion he has for God's work in Lae, PNG!  Also, let us all pray to have compassionate hearts to win others for Christ!

Today:
Relaxing morning at home... attempted to take some photos of the little feral... :)  Enjoy the photos!

Kara's latest look... absolutely no expression!

hanging out with some of her teddies...

Yesterday morning we joined some lovely ladies and their little crazies for morning tea at Frye Park... It was very muchly enjoyed!

Say "CHEESE"!

Looking so innocent....

Impossible to get a shot of these two together!

"I love swings!"

Cheeky little dude! :)

This morning is mum's birthday so Kara and I are off for coffee there later on this morning and we're all having dinner together tonight... "Happy Birthday Nana!"

I love the show!

You can tell Christmas is coming... slowly but surely the weeks/weekends are filling up with all sorts of things!

The Kelmscott Annual Show was on Friday and Saturday and Kara and I really wanted to go (especially seeing that Mark had put some of his artwork for display).  Kara and I ended up going to the show with Mum and Dad Plug and later on Mark met us there.  We were very excited to see that Mark won first prize for one of his portrait drawings... He won a grand total of $6! :) (obviously didn't do it for the prize money).  It was so great to see his work up on the wall, he really is an artist (although way too humble, lucky his wife likes to show him off)!

Award Winning :)

Some of his other artworks (he'll probably kill me for putting them up!)

This one is one of my favourites... it's huge and the clouds are amazing!

I didn't take my camera to the show... I decided that I was just going to enjoy it :) It was such a nice atmosphere.  Kara loved looking at all the colours and listening to all the sounds... She also loved the animals, but not when Opa took her too close! :)  Mark, Kara and I ended up going back later that night to pick up Mark's art and watch the fireworks... Kara didn't know what to think!

In between the show we headed to Woodman's Point to celebrate a friend's birthday with a bbq dinner.  Was beautiful there, the weather was perfect!

On Sunday we were blessed with two wonderful sermons and between services we relaxed outside, enjoying the beautiful summer day.  Kara looked extra gorgeous so I couldn't resist taking some photos! :)

"Enough photos now mum!"

While I was at church in the afternoon Kara and Mark had some fun with all the formula tins Kara has emptied so far...

We're off to the park this morning... hopefully I remember to take my camera! :)

Enjoy your week! :)

Really quick review of the past 6 months...

How shocking am I?  I make all these promises to stay updated, out pops a baby and 6 months goes flying by!  I can't believe that last time I posted our darling little bubs was still tucked away, all cosy and warm, in my tummy!  Now she's six months old and tucked away, all cosy and warm, in her cot, fast asleep (hopefully for all night... not 4am!). To get you up to speed I thought I would show you some photos of my bubs... one for each month :)

As you can see our Little Miss is absolutely gorgeous (I may be a little biased) and is slowly but surely growing into a cheeky little monster!  We absolutely adore her and continually feel very blessed to have her in our lives!

I will try to stay a little more up to date from now on... maybe... :) My motivation will be having one of those awesome blog books made... maybe if I forget to regularly update people could gently remind me?  I'm not very good at committing to things, it would be great if you all could help me out!

Hopefully I'll talk to you all again... within a week!   ........I promise........... :)
