Fine Food and Craft Market

Last Saturday, Southern River held their annual Fine Food and Craft Market.  The organising ladies and all involved did a fantastic job making sure the day ran smoothly!  It was such a nice atmosphere and a great event for the church and the wider community...  The food was fantastic and it was amazing to see what some people can create!

Jeanette, Di and I were in charge of the lucky/fun/happy dip (or whatever you would like to call them).  It was heaps of fun organising them and it was great to see the kids faces light up when they saw their prize! I will definitely be doing them again next year (good excuse to go shopping) :)

the best lucky dips in the entire world! :)

getting her face painted

awww... it matches her cardigan! :)

"Okay Daddy, I want to go and play at home now!"
Do you like her headband?  I bought it (and others) from a stall at the markets, some very talented lady made it! :)

Kiera and her beautiful butterfly...
Kiera was a great helper at our stall... She would take the money from customers and give them their change.  Thanks Kiera! :)

Evan and his airplane :)

Little Miss and her Daddy spent the day together, who knows what mischief they got up to together!

Can't wait till the markets next year!

Adventures at home...

Well our Little Miss is well and truly on the move... as soon as she sees an open door her eyes light up and she shuffles as fast as she can towards it.  It is really cute to see her becoming more independent and explore her widening world... It's not quite as cute seeing the mountain of washing that comes with sliding around on the tummy (seriously I've given up cleaning my floors because no matter what I do she still will find something dirty)!

"What Mum?! You said you wanted to clean out the cupboard!"
Seriously, cupboards are a great way to keep bubs amused! :)

I just had to add this one in :) I put her in a hand me down pair of cousin Josh's pjs and this is what she thought...
(not really, I actually just took something off her which she was sucking on and this was her reaction!  she's teething and it was nearly bedtime...)

Helping Daddy

I was spoilt last night and got a bike as an early birthday present.  This morning Little Miss was helping Mark put it together... :)

"Which size do you need Dad?"

"This one?"

"Just checking that the stand works..."

"This is serious work Mum!"

"The tyre is a little bit flat"

Not too sure about wearing a helmet...

Bathtime LOVE :)

On the Move...

Our Little Miss has figured out how to move forwards... she does a strange seal crawl thing.  It was amazing to see her figure it out and master it all within about three days! It's alot more full on now trying to keep track of her, having to check up on her every 30 seconds, but she also keeps herself occupied for alot longer! :)

"WATCH OUT MUM!"

Finally eating some dinner!

Our Little Miss has finally started eating some dinner!  Thankyou Rafferty's Garden!  I think she likes the strong flavours and chunkier textures... she doesn't like puree's at all!  I guess it will be easier because I can just mash up whatever Mark and I are eating for dinner! :)

On Sunday the 11th we went to Mum and Dad P's to celebrate John's 21st birthday.  Kara had a great time playing on the rug with Opa and Nana (and I'm pretty sure Nana and Opa had just as much fun!).  :)

Later on that week we went to Mum P's again for coffee with the Pluggie ladies... Kara had two adorable little friends to play with...
